About the author

Michael Bacotti Jr. started writing children's books because he enjoyed making up stories and wanted to share them with other kids. He also enjoys running track, building robots, and spending time outside. Many of his story ideas come from everyday experiences, whether it's a trip to the beach, time with friends, or something he notices around him.

The Little Mike series is written to be fun, but each story also has a lesson. Teamwork, kindness, perseverance, friendship, and caring for the world around us are themes that appear throughout the books. Michael hopes young readers will enjoy the adventures and maybe learn something along the way.
